Brain Dead x Feminist Bird Club Bucket Hat - Natural
$ 55.00 USD
Our embroidered bucket hat. Brain Dead x FBC logo embroidered on the front.
We are partnering with @feministbirdclub this holiday season on this limited edition hat, to raise funds for the First Nations COVID-19 Emergency Response Fund. Feminist Bird Club will allocate 50% of our proceeds of this hat to @fndi 303 in support of providing funds to Native non-profits and tribal programs that most need support. the remaining 50% will go towards supporting their mission as a newly established non-profit to provide a safe space for anyone to enjoy birding. The Feminist Bird Club is dedicated to promoting inclusivity in birding while fundraising and providing a safe opportunity for members of the LGBTQIA+ community, BIPOC, and women to connect with the natural world. Their goal is two-fold: Make birding and the outdoors inclusive and affirming to people who may not have safe access to it, and leverage people’s passion for the environment and social justice to help create lasting social change. More simply put: There is no reason why we can’t celebrate birds and support our most cherished beliefs in equity and justice at the same time. This exclusive Brain Dead bucket hat will help provide funds to further the mission of Feminist Bird Club in their first year as a non-profit, to expand beyond the 10 chapters that currently exist across the globe. Feminist Bird Club will split the proceeds from the sales of this hat 50/50 between FBC and the First Nations Covid Response Fund. The COVID-19 Emergency Response Fund is designed to distribute funds efficiently and swiftly to Native nonprofit organizations and tribal programs that need it most. Initially, funds are being prioritized in high-concentration areas – California, New Mexico, the Pacific Northwest, New York, Navajo Nation, Hopi Tribe and COVID-19 hotspots.
