First released in 2007, the Nimbus 9 was initially created to cater to supinated and neutral runners. In this era of ASICS performance footwear, the design team shifted towards a more segmented midsole design. With GEL® technology inserts in the heel and forefoot, this tooling helped create better cushioning and a more stable step.
