Brain Dead and Andersson Bell have teamed up on a collection of outdoor technical wear with a tactile and culture-led approach. Western silhouettes and fringe meet Japanese tie-dye and ripstop nylon.
First released earlier this year in Seoul through Andersson Bell, the full collection is now headed to Brain Dead stores and wearebraindead.com on Friday, September 25th @ 10am PDT.
To represent this intersection of ideas, we felt that no one was better than Mdou Moctar, Tuareg guitarist and songwriter from Niger. The Tuareg people are nomads who travel across the Sahara through harsh conditions yet have their own culture full of beautiful music and more that Mdou Moctar has embodied over the years.
