Brain Dead x Godzilla (Toho) x Sarujirushi Launch WHACKY KAIJU RACING

Brain Dead is proud to announce the launch of its latest official collaboration with Godzilla / Toho Studios, introducing a wild new series: Whacky Kaiju Racing. In collaboration with Japanese sculptor Masami Yamada of Sarujirushi, this drop fuses classic kaiju characters with the spirit of vintage Japanese toys and hot rod culture.

The release features three individual vinyl figures, each hand-cast in Japan using clear vinyl infused with glitter and filled with crushed tinsel. 

The Characters:

• Jet Jaguar in Train (Godzilla vs. Megalon, 1973)

• Godzilla in Jeep (King Kong vs. Godzilla, 1962)

• Hedorah in Race Car (Godzilla vs. Hedorah, 1971)

Alongside the figures, Brain Dead will also release two companion products:

• Brain Dead x Godzilla Kaiju Air Freshener – sandalwood-scented with original air brushed monster graphic

• Whacky Kaiju Racing Tee – features all three figures in custom artwork

This collection pays homage to Japan’s long tradition of placing monsters in vehicles, while nodding to the DIY energy of Big Daddy Roth and American hot rod culture.
