We are thrilled to co-present Sound and Fury at Exposition Park’s South Lawn this July 30th and July 31st. With an amazing lineup of bands and a slew of activities to keep you busy, our teams had all the inspiration to design an unforgettable weekend. Brain Dead’s lore is steeped in the hardcore scene, as a source of inspiration and community. The lineup reflects a wide reach of bands, some who have set the tone for decades and others who are the future of punk. We were excited to help continue on a festival that honors the scene and creates an unforgettable weekend of hardcore fun. Stereogum says “If you have any interest in the intersection of hardcore, emo, indie rock, shoegaze, and ’90s alternative revival, you’re going to make plans to be there...In true communal hardcore fashion, the lineup is listed in alphabetical order on the poster, and it’s not clear exactly who’d be headlining anyway since so many of these bands are excellent and noteworthy.”
At the festival, we will have a full Brain Dead pop up to showcase the capsule collection of Brain Dead x Sound and Fury merch. With lineup tote and t-shirts, band exclusive collection of Brain Dead x Sound and Fury merch as well exclusive apparel collaborations with performing bands. A total of seven curated items for you to enjoy. Our exclusive line up tee and tote features each act that will be attending as well as Brain Dead’s signature logo. In addition, we collaborated with Gulch, Sunami, Gatecreeper, and Fiddlehead to create exclusive apparel that highlight their genius. Some of our favorite pieces from our summer release and recent collaborations will also be available for purchase.
The pop-up is our love letter to the community and fans. In the past few months, we created something for musicians of all stages and ages alike, our Brain Dead Ghost Echo Pedal made possible by Earthquaker Devices. Brain Dead has long admired Earthquaker Devices for their dedication and care that goes into each product. Founded in Akron, Ohio by musician Jamie Stillman, every product is hand made by his team of dedicated gear enthusiasts.
In addition to the pop up, our teams planned an exclusive arcade available to all attendees with some of our most beloved classics. Featuring Star Wars Trilogy, Street Fighter II Champion Edition,Ms. Pacman and many more.
